Choose Your Project Type

Every product type gets a different PRD structure. The generator adapts its sections, screen inventory, and acceptance criteria based on what you pick. Here is what each type changes:

Mobile App

Adds platform-specific sections: bottom-tab navigation, gestures, push notifications, offline behavior, app store guidelines, and 44px minimum touch targets.

Web App

Adds responsive breakpoints, SEO metadata, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), keyboard navigation, and shareable URL strategy.

SaaS Platform

Adds accounts & auth, team workspaces, role-based permissions, billing flows, onboarding sequences, and admin console.

Micro Tool

Strips to essentials: one focused screen, instant output, no signup, deliberately minimal scope. The PRD is deliberately short.

Custom

Reads your free-form idea description and builds a PRD around whatever you described. Adapts sections to match.

Describe Your Idea

The form collects only the essentials. You have two modes — pick the one that fits your workflow:

Plan it for me (Auto)

Describe your idea in a few sentences. The generator interprets your idea, selects the right domain blueprint, and plans every screen, feature with acceptance criteria, design tokens, and tech stack automatically. Smart suggestions appear as you type — languages and frameworks tailored to your idea.

My own features (Manual)

List your own features and screens. Toggle 17 experience options — dark mode, bottom navigation, push notifications, payments, offline support, PWA, and more. Every toggle is available for every project type. The generator turns each line into a proper spec with Given/When/Then acceptance criteria.

In both modes, the generator also asks for:

Project Name — What you call your product. Used as the PRD title.

Color Palette — Pick a preset (Ocean, Sunset, Forest, etc.) or choose up to 4 custom hex colors. Contrast and accessibility are handled for you.

Smart Stack Suggestions — As you describe your idea, the generator suggests relevant languages and frameworks with reasons. Add them with one click — or ignore and pick manually.

Design Style — 16 visual directions shown as visual cards (Minimal, Premium, Glassmorphism, Brutalist, etc.). Hit "Show preview" to see a live mock of your chosen style with your colors.

Animation Style — 16 motion presets with live demos you can watch before choosing (Essential, Expressive, Spring, Parallax, etc.). A full motion plan is written into the PRD either way.

Custom Instructions — Anything the PRD must respect: brand rules, must-have screens, tone of voice, integrations to avoid. Treated as hard requirements.

A one-paragraph overview stakeholders read first. Covers what the product is, who it is for, and why it exists.

Problem Statement

The specific pain point this product addresses, with context on why now is the right time.

Target Users & Personas

2-3 detailed personas with context of use, goals, frustrations, and a quote capturing their attitude.

Goals & Success Metrics

Measurable outcomes with metrics, targets for 90 days post-launch, and anti-goals.

Features & Requirements

Every feature with a user story, Given/When/Then acceptance criteria, states (empty/loading/error/success), and priority (MVP vs v1.1).

Screen-by-Screen Spec

Complete inventory — each screen, its purpose, key components, and all four states designed before build starts.

AI & Developer Build Guide

Rules for AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, Bolt, v0): build order, hard vs. suggested requirements, acceptance criteria, suggested component names, and code structure guidance.

Design Direction & Motion

Style guide, color tokens, typography scale, motion plan, accessibility targets (WCAG 2.1 AA), and 44px minimum touch targets. All 17 toggles emit hard requirement lines.

Technology Stack

Frontend, backend, infrastructure choices with reasoning. Respects your language and framework selections.

Non-Functional Requirements

Performance targets, privacy rules, reliability notes, and compliance requirements.
