2.1. Free PRD Generator is a free, browser-based tool that helps product professionals create Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).
2.2. All processing happens entirely in your browser using TypeScript. There are no backend servers involved in document generation, and nothing you generate is transmitted anywhere.
2.3. The optional AI-powered generation mode runs an open-source machine-learning model inside your own browser. No AI service is contacted — the model runs on your device via WebGPU (where available) or a CPU-based fallback.
2.4. The Service includes both Auto Mode (AI generates a PRD from your idea) and My Own Plan mode (you structure your own input into a formatted PRD).
3. Eligibility
3.1. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
3.2. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Ownership of Generated Content
4.1. Any PRD you create using the Service belongs entirely to you. We do not claim any ownership, intellectual property rights, or other interest in the content you generate.
4.2. You are free to use, modify, distribute, and commercialize your generated PRDs without restriction from us.
4.3. Because all processing happens on your device, we have no access to and no record of the content you generate.
5. No Professional Advice
5.1. The PRDs generated by the Service are structured templates filled with content based on the information you provide. They are not professional, legal, financial, or technical advice.
5.2. You should review and validate all generated content before relying on it for business decisions. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on generated content.
5.3. For professional advice relevant to your product or business, consult qualified professionals in the applicable field.
6. Acceptable Use
6.1. You may use the Service for its intended purpose: creating PRDs for your own use.
6.2. You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and not to use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.

8.3. The PRD templates and structural formats used by the Service are provided for your use within the tool. Extracting or redistributing these templates outside the Service is not permitted.
